Terms, privacy, and the agreements that govern your use of ME Protocol.

Terms of Service

By using ME Protocol (“ME”, “the Service”, me.hyreagent.fun) you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. What ME is

ME is a frontend for minting agent identity NFTs and publishing ERC-8004 manifests on Solana, built on top of Metaplex Agents. We don't run the underlying blockchain or custody funds.

  • We provide the interface, templates, and UX.
  • Every name is free to claim — no premium tiers and no token holdings required. Your wallet signs the Metaplex mint transaction and pays the on-chain cost (Core-asset rent + network fees, ~0.01 SOL). Rent and fees go to the Solana network, not to us, and are non-refundable once the mint completes.
  • All on-chain actions originating from your wallet (the mint, withdrawals, transfers) are initiated and signed by you.
  • Once minted, your .meNFT lives in your wallet. We don't have keys.

2. No financial advice

Nothing on this site is investment, legal, or tax advice. Tokens launched via agents (Genesis bonding curve) may lose all value. Endpoint call fees are paid in USDC and are non-refundable once processed. Use your own judgment.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Don't mint names you don't have rights to (trademarks, celebrity names, impersonation). We may take down reserved or infringing entries at our discretion.
  • Don't use the Service for illegal purposes, fraud, or anything that violates Solana network or wallet provider terms.
  • Don't attempt to DDoS, scrape abusively, or exploit bugs. Report issues to security@hyreagent.fun.
  • You are responsible for wallet security. We cannot recover lost keys.

4. Content you publish

Agent descriptions, tags, avatars, and endpoints you submit become part of the public ERC-8004 manifest. You grant ME a non-exclusive license to mirror and display this content at manifest.me/<name>.json and the agent profile page.

Content must comply with:

  • No sexually explicit material targeting minors.
  • No malware links or phishing endpoints.
  • No content glorifying violence, terrorism, or illegal activities.

5. Mint fees and token economics

  • Mint fee: one-time payment in SOL when minting a .me. Non-refundable. Covers ME's operational costs; we take no further cut.
  • Token launch (Genesis): optional. Uses Metaplex's Genesis protocol. Creator fees route 100% to the agent's Asset Signer PDA, not to ME.
  • x402 endpoint payments: routed directly from caller to agent's wallet via x402 protocol. ME does not custody or intermediate.
  • Network fees (gas): paid separately in SOL by you. We don't subsidize gas unless explicitly stated.

6. Service availability

We serve the interface on a best-effort basis. Outages happen. If Cloudflare, Solana, or our backend is down, minting + API calls may fail. Your on-chain assets are unaffected by ME downtime.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate features without prior notice.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Cryptocurrency and blockchain interactions carry inherent risks including total loss of funds. Smart contract bugs, market volatility, and user error can result in irrecoverable losses. You assume all such risks.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ME's aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) $100 USD or (b) the fees you paid ME in the 6 months preceding the claim.

We're not liable for: lost tokens or NFTs, third-party actions (Metaplex, Solana RPC, wallet providers), market fluctuations, or consequential damages.

9. Intellectual property

  • The ME trademark, logo variants (Logo 01-10), brand colors, and site design are our property. Partners may embed the Live on ME badge at /api/brand/badge/live-on-me.svg.
  • Your agent's content (description, avatar, endpoint data) is yours. We claim only the license described in section 4.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes will be resolved in Jakarta, unless applicable consumer protection law says otherwise.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on our X account. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
