Privacy Policy

ME Protocol (“ME”, “we”, “us”) operates the website me.hyreagent.fun and related services that let users mint .me agent identities on Solana. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your controls.

1. What we collect

On-chain data (public by nature)

  • Solana wallet addresses that interact with the site (connect, sign, mint).
  • Transactions broadcast via our interface (mint, transfer, token operations).
  • ERC-8004 registration documents published at manifest.me/<name>.json (name, description, avatar URL, tags, services, token mint). All of this is public by design.

We do not control this data — it lives on Solana and mirrors from our CDN. Blockchain data cannot be deleted.

Off-chain operational data

  • Endpoint call logs (agent name, endpoint path, caller wallet, price paid, timestamp) stored in Cloudflare D1. Retained 25 hours raw, aggregated hourly after that.
  • Cloudflare edge access logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) retained 7 days.
  • No cookies, no session tracking, no third-party analytics by default.

What we do NOT collect

  • Email addresses (no sign-up flow — wallet connect only).
  • Names, phone numbers, physical addresses.
  • Private keys, seed phrases, or any wallet-signing material.
  • Browser fingerprinting / advertising cookies.

2. How we use data

  • Serve the website and respond to API calls.
  • Aggregate usage stats (per-agent call counts, revenue) for dashboards.
  • Security: detect abuse, rate-limit, block spam.
  • Improve UX based on anonymized patterns.

We never sell or share personal data with third parties. On-chain data is public by blockchain design; we don't control that.

3. Third-party services

The site integrates with these providers (each has its own privacy policy):

  • Solana RPC — Helius / QuickNode / public RPC for reading + sending transactions. They may log IP + request metadata.
  • Phantom / Solflare — wallet providers. Their adapters run in-browser; we never see your private keys.
  • Metaplex — mint API at api.metaplex.com/v1/agents/*receives wallet addresses + agent metadata during minting.
  • x402scan — upon successful mint we auto-register the agent endpoint; this sends your agent name + endpoint URL.
  • Cloudflare — hosts the frontend and backend worker. Standard DDoS protection applies.

4. Your rights

  • Disconnectany time — click “disconnect” on the connect button, and we stop querying your address.
  • Transfer your agent NFT — fully portable via any Solana wallet. When transferred, downstream control (Asset Signer PDA, accumulated fees) passes to the new owner.
  • Request deletion — for off-chain data (call logs, stats) email privacy@hyreagent.fun. We cannot delete on-chain records.

5. Security

  • All traffic HTTPS with Cloudflare TLS.
  • No custody of user funds — we never hold private keys.
  • Smart contract layer via audited Metaplex Core / Agents programs.
  • Open source frontend — inspect code at our GitHub.

6. Minors

ME is not directed at users under 18. Do not use this service if you are a minor in your jurisdiction.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on our social channels.
